Colorful Penang

Three years ago, Mark and I have packed our bags and traveled for 8 months outside United States. We we're staying in Thailand for about a month, and needed to renew our visa. Which meant we had to do a border run. The closest and cheapest option was to go to Malaysia for a few days and re-enter Thailand. We decided to head to Penang, since we heared rumors of its delicious street food.

We initially planned on staying one week, but let's just say we ended up staying 7 weeks instead. We had fallen in love with the colorful colonial architecture. Walking around Georgetown was a feast to the eyes. Colors ranged from pastels, earthy tones, to vibrant colors treat our eyes.

Last year, my sister and I had a mini Southeast Asia jaunt. We made sure to make a pitstop in Penang.
